Born 1952, Kertch. Painter and designer. He studied at the Fine Arts Academy of Fiodessa under Nikolai Barsmov - now regarded as the founder of the artists colony at Gourzouf on the Black Sea. Stolerenko lives in Yalta (Ukraine). He paints mostly flowers and landscapes and has become famous for his 'dancing light' technique. In the communist era he undertook many government commissions. His works are exhibited in the Russion Museum of St Petersburg and Gallery Tretiankov. He has held one-man shows in Kiev and Fiodessa. |
